shipping & delivery
delivery & processing charges (d&p) d&p is the charge for catalog and internet order processing, item selection, packing, processing, transportation and handling. special delivery requests, including carrier specification and/or future delivery dates, may include additional charges. delivery times are not guaranteed, despite additional charges, but are our best approximation and will vary with specific requests, such as gift boxing, wrapping paper, and monogramming. shipments and deliveries occur only on business days. d&p is subject to change and will be determined at the time of order and subject to the following:
Standard Delivery Unless expedited service is requested, your order should arrive approximately 5-7 business days after dispatch if ordered before 12:00 noon (CST).
two-day delivery if requested, add $10.00 to standard shipping. Your order should arrive within 2 business days of dispatch if ordered before 12:00 noon (CST). Please note that two-day orders placed on Friday after 12:00 noon (CST) or Saturday will be processed on Monday and should arrive within 2 business days of dispatch. some heavy or bulky items may not qualify for this service. a signature may be required and additional charges may apply if more than one delivery attempt is made. this service is not available for some zip codes.
overnight delivery if requested, add $17.00 to standard shipping. Your order should arrive the next business day after dispatch if ordered before 12:00 noon (CST). Please note that overnight orders placed on Friday after 12:00 noon (CST) or Saturday will be processed on Monday and should arrive the next business day after dispatch. some heavy or bulky items may not qualify for this service. a signature may be required and additional charges may apply if more than one delivery attempt is made.
deliveries to alaska, hawaii, puerto rico and guam add $5.00 to applicable d&p charges for standard shipping. Your order should arrive in approximately 7-10 business days if ordered before 12:00 noon (cst).
international shipments a base shipping charge will be quoted at the time of placing the order that could be modified at a later date for additional charges in the foreign country. transit days from delivery to the recipient will vary depending on the country of destination. Duties and taxes will be the responsibility of the recipient. if requested, items can be held for a specific delivery date.
additional address add $8.00 to applicable d&p charges for each additional delivery address.
- items ordered together may be delivered separately, and d&p will be assigned to shipments, but not necessarily evenly.
- some orders may require more than one package to ship ; for these shipments, the additional charge for overnight and two-day deliveries would be a per package charge.
- returns may affect final shipping and delivery charges. D&P charges are non-refundable unless merchandise is damaged or defective. Returns for reasons due to neiman marcus will receive d&p credit as assigned d&p, which may result in a final d&p charge after return that differs from quoted rates.
- multi-item orders from different catalogs will result in d&p of the table in the most current catalog, as d&p tables can vary from catalog to catalog.
- d&p can vary between catalog orders and internet orders .
- Certain items requiring special delivery have d&p charges listed in parentheses after the price. For those items only, the amount in parentheses is the total shipping charge for that item.
- U.S. Compliant. uu. Per Department of Transportation Rules, Restricted or Hazardous Items (Hazardous Materials) as defined below must be delivered via Standard Shipping and cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, All of the United States. territories or apo/fpo addresses.
- If you request to change the destination address of an en-route shipment, an additional charge may apply.

purchase of furniture the delivery of furniture can take up to 12 weeks. customer service will provide you with an approximate delivery date when you place your order. You can also call 1.888.888.4757 for order status.
Professional assembly is recommended for some of our products and will be indicated when you place your order. assembly is included with delivery service only for items shipped to arizona, california, colorado, florida, georgia, hawaii, illinois, maryland, massachusetts, michigan, minnesota, missouri, nevada, new jersey, new york, north carolina, pennsylvania, texas, virginia, washington and the district of columbia. for items shipped to states not listed here, assembly costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the customer.
Delivery to PO Boxes Second Day and Overnight Shipping are not available for PO Boxes. all standard deliveries to p.o. the boxes will be sent by postal mail. feel free to contact us if you have any questions about when you will receive your order.
Restricted/Hazmat Items Certain consumer products are considered hazardous materials, such as aerosol sprays, nail polish, fragrances, and other alcohol-based products; Our policy is to ship these items as Standard D&P to USA. uu. locations and prohibit shipping to international locations, including apo/fpo addresses and all of the usa. uu. territories, including Puerto Rico and Guam. If you request to change the destination of a shipment en route, an additional charge may apply.
perishable items perishable items are shipped to you directly from our suppliers by air within the contiguous states only. therefore, if you need to cancel an order, we must receive the cancellation at least four days before the requested delivery date. these items cannot be shipped to apo, fpo or p.o. boxes and cannot be gift wrapped. Shipping and handling charges for these items are calculated separately from charges for other items in your order. these charges are aggregated per item, not calculated on the total dollar amount of all perishable items, based on delivery & processing graph. these items may also require an additional surcharge, indicated in parentheses after the item price. When ordering, please be ready to provide us with the phone number(s) of the recipient(s). shipping costs are only for deliveries from Tuesday to Friday. no deliveries on Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
drop shipping items drop shipping items are shipped directly from the manufacturer to your door. second day and next day shipping is not available on these items. these items cannot be shipped to apo, fpo or p.o. boxes and cannot be gift wrapped. additional time should be allowed to process the order, and heavy items may take four to six weeks for delivery. There may be a small price increase for orders placed in the US. uu. and shipped to foreign countries.

credit options in addition to neiman marcus and bergdorf goodman credit cards, american express®, visa and mastercard credit cards are accepted for the book, the catalog and shop purchases.
Credit Cards: The full dollar amount of your order is assigned at the time your card is approved, although payment (funds transfer) is not made until the order is submitted. order. If the amount charged exceeds your credit limit, your order will be automatically cancelled.
debit cards: payment is deducted from your account at the time your card is approved. a receipt is included with each order.
