- files attachments. Similarly, you can filter emails based on whether or not they have an attachment. attachments tend to be the worst offenders in terms of email size and are easy to review without downloading them individually.
- subject lines. in some cases, you may You can to delete emails based on their subject line. for example, if you received a ton of emails about a certain project, but that project has already ended, you can delete all emails with the project name in the subject line.
- senders. If you have an old client that you will never work with again, or if there is an employee that no longer works at the company, you can retrieve all the emails they sent you and delete them in bulk.

if you are using an android mobile device, there are also ways to delete gmail emails in bulk (although the computerized process is more convenient in my opinion).
step 1.
To get started, open the folder where you want to delete emails.
step 2.
Tap the circle icon to the left of any individual message you want to delete; you can also press and hold the message to select it. when you do this, you will have the option to tap on additional emails.
step 3.
Go to your chosen folder and touch each and every email you want to delete. When you’re done, you’ll be able to delete all of these emails at once, with one click.
You can also adjust your settings to make it faster to delete emails in the future.
Go to the settings menu, go to general settings and click on “swipe actions”.
Here, you can change the settings for swipe left and right; set your preferred address to “delete” and you’ll be able to swipe to delete messages much faster in the future.

If you are using the Gmail app on an iPhone or iOS device, you will have access to a similar method to bulk delete Gmail emails. again, it’s faster and more convenient to use a computer for most users.

Tap the circular contact icon to the left of a message you’re ready to delete. this will assign a gray checkmark to it. from there, you can tap additional emails to flag them.
