How to Create a JAMB Profile for 2023/2024 Registration – Full Guidelines:
This article will focus on how jamb candidates can easily create a jamb profile either using SMS or through manual options.
The jamb registration process has changed dramatically over the years, with the appointment of the new head of the jamb, the junta recently introduced a new registration process, this is to ensure credibility and transparency. in all aspects.
Today I will walk you through the simple process you need to follow when you want to create a jamb profile.
Create JAMB Profile – How to Create JAMB Profile 2023/2024
All jamb 2023/2024 candidates are required to create a new jamb profile at the end of this, they will receive a unique code via their mail or by sms, all candidates are expected to continue their registration using this code special.
Note that you can create this code with your mobile phone or through a computer as long as they are connected to the Internet.
STEP 1:</b
- The one you need to validate your email address on the JAMB portal. Click here to do this now, click here.
- Fill in your email in the first two spaces provided, then select a question and type a secret answers in the last 2 spaces. The secret question and answer will be needed if you forget your JAMB portal profile password, so make sure you always remember the selected question and the corresponding answer you wrote.
- Then click “Verify Mail electronic”. A link will be sent to your email.
- 4: Open your email and look for an email sent from “[email protected]” . The email should be titled “Email Address Confirmation”.
- Open the email and click the link that says “Click here to continue creating your profile”. If you can’t click the link, make sure the email isn’t in your spam/junk folder. If so, please move it to your inbox to access the link.
- PLEASE NOTE: There is also a UNIQUE CODE sent to you in that email. Make sure you don’t delete that email or you can copy the unique code to a safe place. You will need this code when you go to register with the CBT Center.
STEP 2:
Once you click the link in step one, step 2 provides you with a form to fill in your personal information
- Fill in all the information provided by the form. Your last name, first name, middle name, date of birth (day, month, and year), your phone number, nationality, state, LGA, and your profile password.
- Make sure you collate all of the above information , because if you don’t, it may cost you to change it in the future.
- Once you are sure of all the information above, click “Sign Up”.
- That’s it, your profile will be created immediately. You should see a message that says “Your account creation was successful”.
- You can click “Continue to sign in” to access your new profile.
How to Create JAMB Profile with CELLULAR Phone VIA SMS
- Send your Last Name, First Name and Middle Name (when applicable). This must be a maximum of 38 characters + 2 spaces between names = 40 characters total for the JAMB short code of 55019
- A cellular number (mobile phone number) can only be used by one candidate
- The candidate receives a 10-character confirmation code on the same phone number that will be used to obtain the ePIN
SELF-HELP PROFILE IN CASE OF ERROR/MISSING:
- To correct an error in the candidate’s name, resend a text message (from the number on record) “CORRECT Last Name First Name Middle Name” to 55019
- To retrieve a lost confirmation code, text again (from the registered number) “RESEND ” a 55019.
How to create a JAMB profile graphically.
The following steps will help you create a successful Jamb profile.
- Visit the official Jamb portal through this link https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility
- Near the post office registration facility, you will see a to login.
- Click Sign in.
- A new page will open.
- Click the Create New Account button to begin creating your Jamb profile.
- You will be prompted check your email. See screenshot below:
- Click select to choose a question from security from the drop down menu. For example, what is the name of your first boyfriend?
- In the last two spaces (answer to the secret question), enter the same answer. If your first boyfriend is/was Isaac, write him in the last two spaces and click verify.
- You will see a dialog asking you to verify your email. If the box displayed is not exactly like the following, it means that your email has problems. Please create and verify a new email before creating your Jamb profile.
- Log in to your email and confirm it. If you can’t find the email under updates, please check your spam folder. If you still can’t find it, relax. Sometimes it takes time to arrive.
- Click the link JAMB will send you to continue with the registration.
- After that, you will be asked to fill in the following details: First name, last name, email, password and date of birth….
- If you don’t have an email yet, create an email account here now in two minutes.
