This is how you use it to schedule your faxes:
- Install boomerang in your preferred browser and login to gmail.
- click compose
- follow the steps to send a fax from gmail.
- click “send later”. you can set an exact time and date to email your fax, or you can use the “tomorrow morning” and “tomorrow afternoon” options to send it at 9:30 or 12:00 PM. m. respectively.
- click on confirm
Once you’ve completed the steps above, you can forget about faxing. You will receive a confirmation message as usual when your fax has been delivered.
using your online fax account
To schedule faxes with this alternative, you will need to log in to your online fax account in your web browser and access your fax sending options. allows you to program an unlimited number of fax pages, if that is included in your service.
another advantage is that it is easier than scheduling a fax directly from gmail and there is no need to install an extension or plugin. for this method we will use the ringcentral fax as an example, but it works the same with other providers.
To schedule your faxes follow these steps:
- login to your fax account online with the service of your choice
- go to “send a fax” or similar area.
- add all the details including area code number, attachment, and optional cover page.
- Beneath the attachments area, you’ll find a field called “send on.” now just set the date and time you want to deliver your fax using the pop-up calendar.
- click schedule.
now you just have to wait for the fax to be sent. scheduled faxes will be added to the outbox, where you can check their status. once it has been submitted, you will receive the usual confirmation email.
