the spirit mail fields, or the spirit mail collectible that you will have to find in the fifth area that appears in kena bridge of spirits, is one of the most complicated so far, since it is located inside a cave that is easy enough to miss .
the developers at ember lab did a great job with this one, so if you don’t know where to find it, in the next guide we’ll discuss its location and how to solve the associated puzzle to get it without, well, dying.
kena bridge of spirits fields spirit mail follows the same logic as the rest of the spirit mail in the game, meaning that you will retrieve the mail first and then deliver it to a specific location in the village.
let’s see how you can do that, preferably while finding these collectibles in the fields area:
- 25 rots (see this guide if you need help with the little ones)
- 10 hats (covered in this extensive guide)
- 2 cursed chests (see this guide for their locations)

To get the spirit mail from the fields in kena bridge of spirits, you will first have to get to the forge, which, as you can guess, is done by following the game’s story.
Without spoiling the story, the forge is located on the northeast side of the fields, as you can see on my map below.
After you reach the Forge it’s time to start looking for the Spirit Mail and I’ll guide you to it.
Make sure you unlock the fast travel point here, which is located on a beautiful terrace that oversees the large area known as the fields.
From there, you’ll want to turn left (this one on your map) and follow the edge of the terrace.
jump on the big root, then continue east to see some stairs that will take you to a cave below the terrace.
Here you will have to solve a small puzzle because although the spirit mail can be collected without this puzzle, getting back to the terrace above is impossible.
Or at least it was for me, and I tried everything.
So, the kena bridge of spirits is in the cave below the forge.
The first thing you’ll want to do is shoot the water droplet (also known as a tear) at the center of the ceiling.
This tear will fall onto the platform below and a plant will grow.
Next, you have to drop a bomb on the rocks below the round plate on your right side.
wait for the bomb to explode, or shoot it, then you’ll create a bridge between the platform with the plant and the one with a round plate.
Use rot to summon a cloud of rot from said plant, then you’ll need to guide the cloud to the round plate.

As you can probably guess, the next step is to Slam the round plate.
Now, be patient and you will see how the cave fills with water. jump on and start exploring, or start swimming if you want; however, the goal is to get to the other side of the cave.
here you will see a balcony and on the right side the spirit mail. is also shown below for your convenience.
Right then. So now that we found the Spirit Mail in the Fields area of Kena Bridge of Spirits, it’s time to deliver it and unlock a new area in the Village.

To deliver spirit mail from the fields to the kena spirit bridge, you’ll need to retrace your steps to the forge’s warp point, also known as a fast travel point.
Now, you’ll need to teleport Kena back to the village, and as you can see on my map below, the mailbox is south of that point.
Or left side as you move away from it.
