guerrilla mail gives you a disposable email address. no need to register, just visit the guerrilla mail and you will be given a random address. you can also choose your own address.
You can give your email address to anyone you don’t trust. you can view the email in the guerrilla mail, click any confirmation link, and then delete it. Any spam sent to the disposable email in the future will be deleted by Guerilla Mail, never reaching your mailbox, keeping your mailbox safe and clean.

q: how can I see the spam folder?
a: there is no spam folder/spam box. all emails that arrive at guerrilla mail are delivered to your inbox. if an email didn’t arrive, it’s most likely a problem on the other side, unless we’re having a bad day… if you’re a webmaster, guerilla mail can also be used to test if your site sends the emails. correctly.
q: what is an encrypted address?
a: Since guerrilla mail does not require account registration, anyone who knows the inbox ID can access that inbox. so it is better to use a random address. to add protection, you can use the address encryption feature. a scrambled address can only be known if the inbox id is known and you cannot use a scrambled id as an inbox id. the harder your inbox ID is to guess, the better your alias will protect you.
q: Do email addresses expire?
a: The current version keeps all incoming emails for 1 hour. this means that all addresses work all the time, they never expire.
When an email arrives at guerrilla mail, it waits in the quarantine ready to be picked up. if a user checks their inbox, guerrilla mail will check the quarantine for new emails. if found, the email will be instantly moved to the user’s inbox. otherwise, emails will be removed from quarantine if they wait there for more than an hour.
once the email is in an inbox, it will be given 1 more hour, or until the user deletes it.
Emails that were never delivered to an active inbox are marked as abandoned and are most likely spam.
(The previous version of guerrilla mail expired the address after 1 hour and bounced any inactive addresses).

guerrilla mail deletes all email that was sent to an inbox after 1 hour.
normally we keep logging off, this is because due to high traffic our server doesn’t have the necessary resources
Emails sent to an inbox are treated with the utmost privacy, however please note that anyone who knows your inbox id can access your inbox. using an encrypted address will further protect your privacy. see the FAQ for more information.

We may use anonymous email data to conduct further anti-spam, anti-malware or anti-phishing research. For this research, only email data that is obviously spam is used.

guerrilla mail consists of a web server (nginx), a database server (mysql), and a mail server (go guerrilla). the design goal and purpose of go guerrilla is to receive large volumes of email and nothing else. it happily gobbles up millions of emails daily. go guerrilla is an open source project available on github. if you invite go guerrilla to your system, remember to feed it a lot of spam, spam is what it likes the most!
the front parts of the website are written in php and javascript. we make heavy use of jquery in our javascript code, and it is written in such a way that it will default to an html version if javascript is not available. we also have an api. actually our front-end uses this api for everything on this site.
