As a YouTube beginner, a few years ago I couldn’t find any precise GUI on this topic. So I just want to share basic and simple information and ideas for beginners who want to make money on YouTube, what I have learned in these years.

Not only for beginners, but for anyone who wants to improve their Channel from YouTube.

Steps on how to make money on YouTube

Step 1 – Set up and create your YouTube channel

Your channel is your personal presence on YouTube. Every YouTube account has a channel attached to it. A YouTube account is the same as a Google account, and creating a YouTube account will give you access to other Google products, like Gmail and Drive.

Create your account or use the one you already have. Add keywords to help people find your channel.

You can add keywords by navigating to the Advanced section of your channel’s Settings. Make sure your keywords are relevant to your content.

Your username can also work for or against you. If it’s short, easy to remember, and original, people will be more likely to remember you.

However, if you’re using an existing account, you can always change your username by editing it in your Google+ account. .

Create a YouTube channel using your Google account If you have a Google account, you can view and share YouTube content.

But you need to create a YouTube channel to upload videos , comment, or create playlists.

You can use a computer or the YouTube app or mobile site to create a new channel.

1. Go to YouTube and sign in: Go to YouTube.com and click “Sign In” in the top right corner of the page. Sign in with your Google account username and password.
2. Go to YouTube settings: In the upper right corner of the screen, click the your profile icon and then the Settings icon.
3. Create your channel: in your settings, you will see the option “Create a channel”, click this link. You will then have the option to create a personal channel or create a channel with a company name or other name. For this example, let’s choose the business option. Now, it’s time to name your channel and select a category.

Step 4: Monetize your videos

To start making money from your videos, you’ll need to enable monetization. This means that you are allowing YouTube to place ads on your video. This also means that you acknowledge that there is no copyrighted material in your video.

1. Go to www.youtube.com and click on “My Channel” on the web page.
2. Click the link labeled “Video Manager” on the top bar.
3. Click the channel and Enable monetization.
4. Get 4000 hours of playback and 1000 Subscribers

Step 5: Get at least 4000 hours of views to start earning money.

You can monetize a video as it is uploaded by clicking the tab Monetization and checking the “Monetize with ads” box.

To monetize a video after it’s been uploaded, open YouTube Creator Studio, select the channel dropdown, and click Monetization to monetize your videos.

Get a review after Reach 4,000 watch hours in the previous 12 months and 1,000 subscribers

Upon reaching this threshold, your channel is automatically reviewed to ensure it meets the YouTube Partner Program terms and Guidelines of the community. Youtube will email you a decision, usually within a week.

Step 6: Set Up Google Adsense Upload

You can set up Google AdSense for free on the AdSense website.

Click the “Sign Up Now” button to start creating your account. You must be 18 years or older to create your own account. If you’re younger, you’ll need the help of an adult.

You need a PayPal or bank account and a valid mailing address and other information so AdSense can verify who and who you are. to send the money to. You only earn money per ad click and a smaller amount per view, but it adds up over time. That’s why having an audience is key.
