    1. Go to Safari or another browser.
    2. Visit accounts.google.com/DisplayUnlockCaptcha.
    3. Sign in to your Google account.
    4. Click Continue.
    5. You should see a screen that says Account access enabled.
    6. Try to sign in to Gmail on your iPhone.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Tap on Gmail.
    3. Enable Background App Refresh.
