what confirmation will I receive from cheaptickets once my reservation is complete?
once you have completed your reservation through cheaptickets, a “reservation confirmation” email will be sent to the email address you provided during your reservation. the “reservation confirmation” email is usually received within an hour of the completion of your reservation. Once your credit card has been authorized by your credit card company and tickets have been issued, you will receive a “ticket confirmation” email. this email will provide you with the ticket numbers associated with your reservation, as well as a complete summary of your reservation. credit card authorization and other cheaptickets security checks may take up to 24 hours from the time the reservation is completed.
note: Please note that some email accounts may send the cheaptickets “booking confirmation” and/or “ticket confirmation” email to your “spam” folder ” or “spam”. If you have not received the referenced emails within the timeframes provided, please check any “junk” or “spam” email folders for email communications from cheaptickets.
How do I change or cancel my itinerary and what fees are charged for this service?
cancel your ticket:you can cancel your flight reservation; however, all airline tickets are subject to the rules and restrictions of the fare you agreed to at the time of purchase. your ticket may be subject to severe penalties or may be worthless for future purchases if cancelled.
change your ticket:Most tickets allow changes. all changes must be made prior to the original departure date. Airline fines of up to S$500.00 per person will be accessed when changes are made. if you change your air itinerary, a new ticket must be issued. if the new fare is higher than the original fare, you must pay the fare difference in addition to the change fee charged by the airline. neither cheaptickets nor other travel agencies control the fines established by the airline and have no authority to waive them. additionally, cheaptickets charges a change/cancel fee of s$125 per person for the service.
change requests made after the first travel date has passed are handled on a case-by-case basis. contact cheaptickets at +65 3158 2693 or the airline where the change will be made.
some tickets do not allow any changes, even with a fee. some types of changes are not allowed on tickets. here are some general restrictions:
- You may not change the name on an airline ticket or give the ticket to someone else to use.
- You may not change a ticket from one airline to another.
- Some airlines will not allow ticket reuse if the original reservation was not canceled prior to the original departure date.
In order to process your exchange request accurately, cheaptickets.sg has the following time requirements:
- for changes to electronically issued tickets, cheaptickets.sg requires a minimum of 4 days prior to the original/new departure date to facilitate changes.
- for changes to paper issued tickets prior to the change in airline policy, cheaptickets requires a minimum of 10 days prior to the original/new departure date. this additional time is necessary to allow paper tickets to be returned to cheaptickets for changes and then shipped back once changes have been completed. all shipments must be made via a traceable delivery service and are at the customer’s expense.

Is my ticket refundable?
Although many of the discount tickets issued by cheaptickets.sg are non-refundable, in some cases refunds are allowed. To determine if your tickets qualify for a refund, please contact our customer service center at +65 3158 2693.
can I change the route of my existing itinerary?
The rules associated with the fares offered by cheaptickets.sg generally do not allow changes to the original route once the tickets have been issued. however, in some rare cases, fare rules allow route changes. why was my credit card only charged for the cheaptickets.sg booking fee and not for my ticket?
cheaptickets.sg processes the reservation fee, where applicable, at the time the flight reservation is made. a reservation maintains the flight record but is not immediately ‘issued’. once the reservation is ‘ticketed’, the value of the fare will be processed on the credit card provided. this means that in some cases you may see two charges associated with your booking; one for the cheap ticket booking fee and the other for the actual airfare.
what should I do if I did not receive a confirmation email for my reservation?
After completing your reservation through cheaptickets, you will see a confirmation page with your “cheaptickets travel id”. in addition, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking. If you have not received your confirmation email within 24 hours of booking, we recommend the following:
- Please check the spam/junk folder within your email account to make sure your confirmation email was not automatically filtered into that folder. If the confirmation email was placed in your spam/spam folder, we recommend that you add cheap tickets to your “allowed senders” list. this will allow all future email communications from cheaptickets to reach you properly.
- Call our customer service center on +65 3158 2693 and one of our customer service associates will assist you in sending your your confirmation email.
Can a reservation be corrected or canceled without penalty if I’ve made a mistake?
We understand that occasionally inadvertent errors may be made while using our website. We handle these issues on a case-by-case basis. If you think you have made a mistake on your reservation, please call our customer service representatives on +65 3158 2693 for assistance.
how do I travel with an electronic ticket (e-ticket)?
cheaptickets.sg and the airline’s computer system store your ticket number and information electronically. As a result, to check in for your flight(s), all you need to provide the airline agent is your government-issued photo ID (usually a passport) and they’ll access your electronic reservation and ticket. Although not required, cheaptickets recommends printing your ticket confirmation email and bringing it with you in case the airline agent is unable to locate your reservation information.
Do I need to reconfirm my flight before departure?
You may contact the airline twenty-four (24) hours prior to departure to ensure that no changes or delays have occurred. for a list of airline phone numbers see the question “do you have a list of airline phone numbers?”.
what documents do I need to go through airport security and travel internationally?
Every time you cross an international border, you will need to present proof of citizenship. Passport and visa requirements vary depending on the traveler’s destination and citizenship.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct travel documents required for travel to/from all international destinations you are traveling to or through. If you do not have the required documentation, you will be denied boarding at your point of departure and/or in the country you are visiting. Do I need to reissue my tickets if the airline has made a schedule change?
In most cases, it is not necessary to reissue your tickets if the airline makes a schedule change. One of the main values of electronic tickets is that, when necessary, these changes are automatically reissued. cheaptickets will do its best to let you know of any changes to your schedule and if anything needs to be done.
how do I request seat assignments?
Rules for requesting seat assignments vary from airline to airline and may also be determined by the type of fare you purchased. the best way to request your seat assignment is by calling the airline directly. most airfares allow advance seat requests. some special fares only allow seat assignment at check-in and/or on the day of departure.
