1. Go to mail.google.com on your pc or mac computer, make sure you’re signed in, and click your profile picture icon in the top right corner of the page. screen .
2. sign out, as well as any other gmail account you’re signed in to.
3. Sign back into the account you want to be your new default account, and then sign back into another of your accounts.
4. To verify that your desired account is now set as default, click on your profile picture located in the upper right corner. it should include an email address and below it, in parentheses, it should say “default”.
re-logging in this way will do the job. afterwards, you can sign back in to all your other google accounts without messing up your new settings.
Remember: Your default account is different from device to device, and the method described above will only apply to the device on which you complete the steps.
