pay tolls without an account
if you drive on a toll road without a good road! account, we’ll take a picture of your license plate and mail a bill to the address on your vehicle’s registration with the licensing department. pay-by-mail toll rate is $2 higher.
toll payment by check or bill payment electronic banking services
We don’t recommend e-banking bill pay services without first opening a site out of the box! bill. If you use electronic banking bill payment services, you may need to update your customer identification number each time you make a payment.
Be sure to use the following format when sending payments:
- make payments payable to: done!
- include the client identification number found on your statement bill or notice of civil penalty . each statement/advice has a unique customer identification number and may have been updated since your last bill.
- if you don’t know your current customer ID for payment, please reference your license plate number. if you are referring to the license plate number, use the license plate number from the invoice you received.

There are four types of passes to choose from. all kinds of good to go! approve works to pay the lowest toll rate on any toll road in washington. some passes are designed for specific customers. For example, the Flexi Pass allows you to carpool for free on the I-405 Express Toll Lanes and the SR 167 Hot Lanes when you have enough people in your car.
You can still save money by paying through a good takeout! counts even without a pass. if you drive on a toll road without a pass, you will be charged an additional fee of 25 cents for each trip.

You can purchase a pass online at mygoodtogo.com or by calling our customer service center at 1-866-936-8246. You can also find passes at participating QFCs and Fred Meyers in the region. note that the sticky pass and flex pass are the only good ones to take! passes available at retail stores. not all stores carry both, and we suggest you call your local store ahead of time to make sure they have passes in stock.
If you buy a pass at a retail store, be sure to activate it before you use it.

*License Passes: Some cars have metal on the windshield, which can interfere with the go signal. pass (this is usually due to special features like heated windshields, infrared light blockers, or certain types of driver-assist technologies). however, many of these windshields have a designated area where it is good to go. the passes will work. if you think your windshield may be interfering with your smooth ride! pass, you must follow these steps:
- Contact your local dealer or check your owner’s manual to see if your vehicle has a windshield area for it to work! passes.
- if you find that your windshield does not have a designated area for a good exit! pass, you will need a license plate pass for your vehicle.
- if you carpool in the express toll lanes of i-405, you will need to take additional steps to drive without tolls. contact customer service for more information.

late fees, civil penalties and disputes
If you get a toll bill, don’t ignore it. If you do not pay your tolls by the initial due date, you will be charged a $5 late fee. If you do not pay your toll within 80 days, you will be issued a $40 civil penalty notice for each unpaid toll, and the vehicle’s registration may be suspended by the licensing department.
- Late Fee: $5 late fee for an unpaid bill; issued if a toll bill is not paid in full by the due date.
- civil penalty: $40 civil penalty for each unpaid toll trip; issued if tolls are still unpaid 80 days after your trip.
- vehicle registration hold: failure to pay a civil penalty within 20 days may result in vehicle registration being withheld.
- charges: You may be charged additional service fees if unpaid tolls and fines are sent to a collection agency. charges.
forgiveness of penalty
If you have been charged a civil penalty notice for unpaid tolls, you may qualify for our penalty forgiveness program. to see if you’re eligible, contact good to go! customer service team to request a one-time waiver of all late fees and penalties. Please note that all original tolls must be paid at the time of application.
disputes
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged a toll, you can dispute the charge online. we can resolve most types of disputes within a few days. To dispute a charge, visit mygoodtogo.com. Make sure you have your toll bill ready, as it contains information you’ll need to complete your dispute.
Some reasons to dispute a toll include:
- You do not own the vehicle and did not sell it before the toll was collected (you will need a report of sale with a confirmation number from the licensing department).
- Your vehicle or it was stolen license plate (you will need a police report).
- never drove on a toll road.
Please note that if you drove on a toll road by mistake, or someone else was driving your vehicle, you are still legally responsible for the toll charges as the registered owner of the vehicle.
other fees

visitor’s guide
good to go! accounts are a great option for visitors or people who only need to use the toll roads for a short period of time. to save money and easily pay tolls:
- open a good take away! and check the box marking it as a temporary account.
- this will allow you to select the pay-as-you-go payment option and pay tolls automatically with your credit card.
- choose a date within 90 days for your account to close automatically.
With a temporary account and no pass, you’ll save $1.75 on each toll compared to paying by mail. You also won’t have to worry about waiting for bills in the mail.
while you won’t need to buy a good one to go! pass, you will not be able to carpool for free in the express toll lanes of i-405, or use the active lanes of sr 167 as a lone driver.
rentals
Be sure to check the terms and conditions of your rental agreement before using a toll road. each rental agency has different policies and some companies add additional fees that we have no control over.
