Head to your Labs settings and enable the “Refresh POP accounts” lab, then hit “Save changes” at the bottom or top of the page. From then on, you’ll see a “Refresh” link to the right of your inbox buttons. Hit it and Gmail will poll any email accounts you’ve set it up to fetch from. That got me thinking… How are the Lab items sorted? Whenever I hear about a new Labs feature I have to slowly trudge through all the ones I’ve already selected or consciously decided to skip to find a new feature tucked 3/4 of the way down the list. The list is getting to the point that Google should really add ‘Show disabled’, ‘Show new’, etc. links. My $0.02. Feel free to resume your day.
