1. Can I upload my photos or videos? mailonline currently allows users to post text comments. in the future, you may also be able to upload your photos or videos.
2. Can I let other people use my account to comment? No. save your login details (username and password) and do not allow others to use your account.
3. Why is there a 1000 word limit for comments on articles? we have a word limit because comments should be to the point.
4. what is the difference between the discussion section of the website and the comments in articles or blogs? the discussion section contains message boards where users can start threads on topics and discuss issues with each other. Comments on articles or blogs are defined by the subject area of the article or blog.
5. Does mailonline have any guide on how to write comments? Yes. please see our house rules.
6. Am I legally responsible for what I write? Yes. please see our terms and house rules for guidance on what is acceptable.
7. what is the difference between unmoderated comments and pre-moderated comments? unmoderated: your comment is published on the site without being verified first. moderated in advance: your comment will be verified in advance before appearing on the site. the category of the comments is indicated at the top of the thread.
8. Why are comments not allowed on some articles? We do not allow comments on some articles or blogs. this is usually for legal reasons.
9. my comment did not appear. why? your comment may be in a queue for verification (for example, if comments on the article are moderated ahead of time) or your comment may be inappropriate (see our terms and house rules).
10. my comment has been deleted. why? we have the discretion to remove comments (see our terms). Your comment may have been removed because it did not comply with our terms and/or house rules or was removed for legal reasons or after a complaint.
11. Are my comments reviewed before they are posted online? depending on the item, they can be. the corresponding web page will say whether the comments are moderated in advance or not. look for the comments category at the top of the thread.
12. Why do I need to register to make a comment? To allow more comments to be posted and appear faster, users must register and agree to our terms and internal rules.
13. What should I do if I see something that doesn’t follow the house rulesor the mailonline terms?click the report abuse button next to each comment and complete the online form.

14. what will you do with my personal information, such as my email address? Will you share it with other companies? We never share your data with companies inside or outside our group of companies unless we have your permission or as specified in our privacy policy. We do our best to keep your personal data secure.
