How to Bulk Add Posts and Pages in WordPress in 2023
Step 1: Choose your template
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Multi Page Builder → Create New. You will then see a page with multiple options:
You have access to many different templates that cover various niches. Choosing one of the pre-made options can help you get started faster. You can even search for the template that best suits your needs.
However, you also have the option to choose From Scratch and design your own template. This may be your best option if you are working with highly specialized data or want more control over your pages. As we mentioned earlier, you can design your template using the native WordPress editor or a page builder plugin.
We chose US cities for this tutorial. After generating the content, the plugin will take you to the main settings for the WordPress bulk page creation process.
The first thing you should see in the Main Settings tab is a block labeled Template:
As you can probably see, there are some fields you can edit here. Let’s go over the most important ones:
Next, move to the Template dropdown. There, you can choose which template the plugin will use to generate the unique content. Essentially, you are choosing one of your pages to use as a template. We’ve opted to stick with the one designed for the US cities pack, but we’ll talk about customizing the template in the next section.

Step 2: Add your source and customize your template
Next, you’re ready to upload your source document .This is where the WordPress bulk page creation feature of the plugin will collect information. You can start by scrolling down the same settings page to the Source section:
In the first field, choose whether to provide a direct link or upload a file. If you opt for the latter, simply select the file from your computer and click Upload. It has to be a .csv, .xlsx, or .ods file to work correctly.
If you use the direct link method, you’ll need to use a Google document with public access enabled. Enter your URL and Google Spreadsheet ID, and click Get & Use.
Now that it’s loaded, you can use the data to create shortcodes. These shortcodes will allow you to display unique data from your feed almost anywhere you want. The basic structure of these is {{ mpg_COLUMN-NAME }}. Just be sure to replace COLUMN-NAME with the actual column label from your source sheet.

To apply these shortcodes, all you have to do is add them to your template. In our case, that’s one page:
From here, you can add the shortcodes where you need them. This includes the body, header, meta description, and more. After saving your changes, the plugin will convert the shortcodes into unique content on each page.
Step 3: Customize URL generation and internal links
Go ahead, you can customize too generating URLs and internal links for these custom templates. From the main settings, scroll down to URL Generation.
Here you can customize your link formats based on the data you uploaded earlier. Simply type the shortcode value you’d like to see in the link below the URL Format Template field. You can also choose the default separator character.
Before you continue, use the URL preview field to make sure the structure is to your liking:
When you’re ready, click Save Changes. Then, navigate to the Shortcode tab at the top of the page to generate your list of internal links:
Internal links are the number of links pointing to the same URL. The more of these you have, the bigger the SEO boost the URL will get. This boost is increased if pages are less than three clicks away from your home page.
In addition, generating easily accessible lists of these links can help improve your site’s navigation for users. You can start by selecting the desired parameters in Set Conditions. You can also decide how it will be displayed, such as excluding duplicate roles.

Step 4: Edit your new pages and submit a sitemap

Go back to your project settings and go to the Sitemap tab:
